Meet the Instructors
Gary and Merri Scott -- two of the world's most savvy -- and most accomplished -- international travelers and business owners, will also be with us on this trip. In 1920, after the success of the book, Superlearning, Dr. Lozanov was allowed to visit the US from Bulgaria to teach his Superlearning techniques to a handful of people. Merri was among those few who learned and is licensed to teach the Lozanov system today. With the use of Merri's modified system, you will learn how to think and learn more powerfully in just a week.

"I am always amazed at how adept you are at making others feel valuable! Thanks so much for all that you did to make us feel welcome, as if we were with old-time friends! As I mentioned to you at the workshop, I thought everything went so smoothly, and I know when that happens, lots of work has to be done beforehand! I could hear and feel the excitement from those in attendance throughout the workshop. The expertise shared with us will make all our lives so much richer!."

Cotacachi, Ecuador, September 10-18, 2010
The Schedule
To attend this workshop you’ll need to fly into Quito airport (airport code: UIO) on the night of September 10th. We’ll pick you up at the airport and escort you to Mansion del Angel in Quito.
There’s no meeting on September 10th because we’re all arriving at different times. But we’re all staying at the same hotel so you’ll see everyone at breakfast.
On the morning of September 11th, breakfast will be served on the patio.
Note: Your hotel room on the night of the 10th is included in your conference fee.
After breakfast Lori Allen, the Director of AWAI's Travel Division, will be in the lobby to greet you. We’ll board our private bus to travel together to Cotacachi… the charming Andean village where we’ll be based for the next seven days. If there’s time and the weather is nice, we’ll stop at the equator for a group picture and a chance to see if you really can balance an egg on the equator.
When we arrive to Cotacachi we’ll check into the charming Hotel Tierra del Sol. Your accommodation, along with a hearty and delicious breakfast every morning is also covered in your conference fee.
When we get there, we’ll have opening sessions, then we’ll head out on an afternoon excursion to meet the local shamans.
Over the next few days in Cotacachi, you’ll hear from both Jani Bryson and Merri Scott about photography and the Super Thinking techniques.
Then, on September 17th, we'll head back to Quito. On the 18th we'll head to Otavalo to shop at the largest indigenous market in South America. After spending the day in Otavalo, we'll head back to Quito.
Your last night's accommodation in Quito is not included in your conference fee but it will be affordable. Hotels in Quito are not expensive and if you let us book it for you, you'll get a reduced, group rate.
** Classes during this workshop include both photography and Super Thinking Spanish courses. No prior experience in photography or Spanish is required.
